Hi, which ever laptop you buy, produce sure it has a Pentium or Centrino Processor. Say NO to Celeron as they are not really polite (may be a bit cheaper). Look for good RAM, atleast 1 GB presently a days.
The most expensive, of course.

why you wana go for Sony Laptop? they are honest in TV believe me. If you are looking for suitable durable laptop, then run for IBM or Toshiba! no else! and yea make sure you enjoy good RAM and Core DUO processor at tiniest!
y a sony laptop? thru personal experience sony laptops have so plentiful flaws...faulty hinge...exploding batteries, etc etc.



step for a dell or even HP. if u wanna shell out a bit more go for a mac. i'm a notebook user but i've also used mac for 7 years and its very smooth to use.
