Why are dvds so hot after playing them surrounded by the computer?

a laser read them. they will get tremendously hot.

Not only the spinning of the compact disc itself, but laptops are very small, significance that the qhole computer is hot and since the materials are compacted, everything running creates the interior to heat up (hence a tiny devotee to cool things down.)
More than likely it's because you don't enjoy adequate cooling for the defence. (tower)...You can add another aficionado or just overt up the case and blow out adjectives the dirt and dust with a compressed co2 can...this will drain the inside heat and collect your cpu, memory, mobo, etc from prematurely falling.
it's because the laser is reading it...not because you have unsatisfactory cooling thats the dumbest thing i've ever hear, all cd's and dvd's do that same as contained by a dvd player or cd player.
Some people estimate that it is the laser, and that's part of it but the laser itself is remarkably low power and only contributes something like 1/5th the heat, if that. Friction from the heavens contributes some but the biggest violator is the motor that sits directly under the disk. This little puppy get pretty hot and has totally little ventilation.



Try sticking your foot on your hard drive if you want to get the impression something that gets hot!
