i enjoy a recentley purchased laptop with vista home premium, and no issue what mike i have connected( built contained by, headset or web cam) I can't be hear, i can hear others no problem and the web cam works for video.
Is in attendance a problem with vista and if so how can i fix it?

probably something up near ur mic, take it to the shop and draw from it checked.
Try buying a computer mic instead of a real mic. It will work better for you.
