Why are dell battery so extremely awful?
Dell had a mobile recall on Sony made battery for possible defects. It's a Sony fault, not a Dell defect. Call Dell to see if your mobile is part of the recal. They will replace it FREE if it is. Go to http://support.dell.com and you can check the battery-operated yourself. There is a link for mobile recall information. You can enter the PID number of the rear legs of your battery to see if it is subdivision of that recall. Also freestyle life expectency for a laptop mobile, on the average, is only 1 year.
