why are at hand no firewire base spring drives ?

USB dominates surrounded by jump drive technology, but why can in that not be firewire based drop drives ? they are faster for video editing, so what is the limitation?

Firewire hasn't really taken stale yet, but when it eventuality does (if it does) they will come out. Computers still enjoy more USB ports than firewire and you still don't see many computers next to front firewire ports like at hand are USB.

In most cases USB is heaps fast adequate anyway, I play age of Empiers 2 expansion of my USB memory drive and it is heaps fast ample to fun it.
The USB 2.0 spec is about like speed as Firewire. But to answer your question, I've never hear of any. However, there may be converter cable that you could buy, if that would serve your purpose.
Most likely for marketing reason. Almost everyone these days have a USB port, while most do not have a firewire port.
USB is more very well known and supported. Did you know that Firewire/ IEEE 1394 is a Apple INC technology that basically "shares" the rights to use it to computer manafucatures? This is why it is only honest for specific devices, and not widly supported. To much red tape to achieve licencing rights to use that port when USB 2.0 is not only faster, but no permissible tape to step through!!
I have one. Kanguru make it.
