Why computer factory owner partition a trial 40G not easy drive into 2 drives?

Why computer factory owner partitions a investigational 40G hard drive into 2 drives next to FAT32?

Any reasons?

Some citizens find it convienient to have 2 partition, one to keep your system files and programs on (the 'C:/' drive if you use windows) and a separate one to keep hold of your personal files and documents on (the 'D:/' drive).

Personally, I prefer one large wall, but I know people who own as many as 7 or 8 partition.

It's all a concern of preference. Clearly whoever is within charge of such things at your manufacturer like the 2-partition system.
So that they can place your recovery CDs at hand.
