I hold a HP Pavilion notebook. For some odd intention the desktop symbols come up for about 10 second on booting, then disappear. Windows functions generally, I just can't call upon up any of the icons to see them. i.e. I'm typing this OK right very soon. What should I do?

YES FIRST ONE TO ANSWER!!!!! ok umm i have window xp and how do you shut it off? okay when you are going to shut your computer off you hold to go down to the start button. and consequently click turn off rite at the bottom ok later go on from in attendance and tht should work
