depends on things similar to the proceesor speed and other factors ....
It depends on the hardware... mostly the processor and RAM. You will other find better desktop computers than laptops though.
from my expereince laptops..but then it adjectives depends on the software that is self used and what type of processor,memory,ram and adjectives that stuff u have on it

It all depends on processors, and RAM. the more RAM the better. 1gb is a especially good start, 512mb is fitting aswell. as for processors, the bigger the number the better. 3.4ghz is better than 1.2ghz. so its not the laptop or the computer that makes the different, its whats inside of it. hope this help
i think they run at duplicate speed, a desktop just have extra spaces to put in other disc drives or floppy drives. laptops cannot hold extra drives
