Which processor is faster and more advanced processor, AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 or Intel(R) Pentium Dual Core?

The Intel Core 2 Duo have taken back the microprocessor activities lead for Intel. There are masses sites out there that publish comparison manners data for microprocessors, and the Core 2 Duo is significantly better surrounded by almost every performance category. Of course i work for Intel, so i'm pretty lively about that!

Of those two, the AMD CPU is more advanced. Relative speed depends on CPU MHz, deportment in mind that Pentium 4/D CPU is not tremendously efficient (less speed/MHz) than AMD. Adjusting for this, both hold performance strengths and weakness, so it depends on which applications are used. AMD is better on floating point calculations and P4 on handling cached information. Cache sizes are also different.
