i want to acquire a laptop in july 2007 but i don't know which one to take. Either media center or vista home premium. i want it to second 5 years and have flawless graphics. i will use it to watch tv, movies, university work and research.

Every operating system sucks in its infancy, and Vista is indeed quite buggy. However, the folks at Microsoft are working on Vista to obtain it to be more stable and in 5 years Vista will be the unusual XP or may even be an older operating system, you may as okay get it in a minute so you don't have to earnings for an upgrade in 2 years anyway.
